Milestone - Lachie Whitfield
Lachie Whitfield will celebrate his 250th AFL game on Saturday, pending clearance from concussion protocols. A former No.1 draft pick, Whitfield has become one of the GIANTS’ all-time greats and one of the league’s most skilled and damaging players, excelling as both a wingman and dashing half-back. A two-time Kevin Sheedy Medallist and All Australian, he’s known for his elite ball use and composure. Averaging 28.1 disposals at 80.5% efficiency this season, Whitfield will become just the third GIANT to reach 250 games, joining Callan Ward and Toby Greene.

GIANTS STOMPING GROUND
Make a big big sound in our GIANTS Stomping Ground that will take your game day experience to another level. Located next to the scoreboard inside ENGIE Stadium, there’ll be inflatables, ¼ time meet and greet with GIANTS players* (subject to availability), free face painting, giveaways, and an opportunity to write a letter to your favourite GIANTS. The GIANTS Stomping Ground will also feature NSW Police, SES, and Fortem Australia, showcasing vehicle displays and offering a range of giveaways. We will also have special guests from Justice League entertaining with a show at 3:30pm, followed by a meet and greet. You don’t want to miss this!

The GIANTS will name their team to take on the Cats at 6:20pm on Thursday at gwsgiants.com.au.
The GIANTS will then name their VFL team on Friday at 12:20pm at gwsgiants.com.au.
