Greater Western Sydney GIANTS midfielder Anthony Miles has told GIANTS TV he is already excited about taking on Collingwood at home after an impressive second performance in the senior team.

“Personally, it was my second game, a great experience and I’m happy,” said Miles.

“We’ve got Collingwood next week at SKODA Stadium. It’s very exciting for us playing Collingwood on our home deck, it’s a massive game for us.

“Coming off a six day break, for us now it’s just about recovery and doing everything right to get ready.”

Miles, who, racked up 27 disposals and 6 marks in the GIANTS loss to Fremantle praised debutants Sam Frost and Gerald Ugle.

“It was great to see two of our debutants kicking goals, Sam Frost and Gerald Ugle,” said Miles.

“It was a great reward for effort.

“Frosty coming off the rookie list, it was terrific for him and Gerald has been waiting a long time for his opportunity.”

Miles was pleased with the way the young GIANTS side responded to the half time message.

“The message from the coaches at half time was to stick at it and keep doing what we’ve been doing and what we spoke about during the week. Eventually we would crack through them,” said Miles.

“There were positives to take out of the match for us. It was probably our youngest side for the year, so to be able to respond the way we did was a massive win for us.”
