Defender Nick Haynes has accepted a one-week suspension for careless conduct during the GIANTS' win over the Hawks on Saturday afternoon. 

The incident with Josh Ward was assessed as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, which equates to a one-week suspension.

Haynes will miss this week's clash with the Adelaide Crows at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
