The GIANTS will finish their pre-season preparations with a final practice match against the Gold Coast Suns at Blacktown International SportsPark on Saturday afternoon.
The GIANTS have named an extended 26-man squad for Saturday’s AFL match which will also feature a VFL curtain-raiser.
Captain Toby Greene, vice-captains Josh Kelly and Stephen Coniglio and key forward Jesse Hogan have all been included in the squad after missing the GIANTS’ intra-club practice match in Canberra last weekend.
Canberra’s Josh Fahey has been named on the GIANTS’ extended bench after competing well across half-back throughout the pre-season and coming back from a minor quad injury.
The GIANTS will go head-to-head with the Suns in the team’s only pre-season game against AFL opposition, giving GIANTS fans their first look at the team under new Head Coach Adam Kingsley.
After all the high-flying action, GIANTS players will hold a signing session so you can get up close and meet your favourite players.
There'll also be face painting, balloon twisting, GIANT inflatables, and a live DJ performance for the whole family to enjoy!
Entry is FREE and non-ticketed.
