Midfielder Tim Taranto has been ruled out of Saturday’s clash with Essendon.

After being medically cleared earlier in the week, Taranto reported symptoms on Friday that may be related to a delayed concussion.

He trained fully across the week before feeling the symptoms on Friday morning.

He was subsequently ruled out by the club’s chief medical officer with further assessment and investigations to follow.

Lachie Ash will come into the 22, with Xavier O’Halloran added to the emergencies.
