The GIANTS have named their team for round 13 of the VFL season, with nine AFL-listed players looking to press their cases for senior selection against the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium.

As confirmed on Thursday evening, former captain Phil Davis will return via the VFL after recovering from a hamstring tendon injury that has sidelined the defender since round two. 

Midfielder Tim Taranto is also set to play a half on Sunday morning after missing the past month due to an ongoing back injury.
