A familiar name for GIANTS Netball fans, Taylah Davies becomes the second GIANT to swap Netball for AFLW, with Elle Bennetts making a successful transition in 2018. The 23-year-old from Wollongong played for GIANTS Netball in 2017 before becoming a train-on player in 2018. In late September Davies was scouted by GIANTS AFLW coach Alan McConnell and made the switch to AFL by signing a rookie contract with the GIANTS AFLW team. Davies made a successful switch to football, making her debut in round four, 2019.
