A key defender, Tanya Hetherington is one of the most experienced players on the GIANTS’ list. Hetherington captained the now defunct VFLW side Diamond Creek and coached them during the 2016 season while sidelined with a knee injury. A former member of the GIANTS' leadership group, Hetherington is a consistent key defender for the GIANTS and an important member of the backline.
