One of the GIANTS’ three Victorian priority selections in 2016, Louise Stephenson is a 176cm utility player originally from Melbourne University who loves to run. Thanks to her height and athleticism, Stephenson is able to play in the forward line, ruck and down back. A stand-out Youth Girls footballer, Stephenson was just 18 when she was selected to represent the Western Bulldogs in the inaugural Women’s Exhibition match in 2013. Stephenson has turned herself into a key defender as her career has continued. She joined the Fire and Rescue NSW as a trainee in 2020.
