Taken with pick 19 in the 2024 Draft, Oliver is a composed and hard-running defender with the potential to play in multiple positions on the ground. Named an under-18 All-Australian in 2024 following a brilliant campaign setting up the play for Victoria Metro, Oliver is blessed with a silky left foot, great decision-making skills, and line-breaking speed.  A weapon out of defence when deployed at half-back, Oliver capped off his under-18 All-Australian season with a premiership with the Sandringham Dragons, where he was also selected in the Coates Talent League Team of the Year. Oliver wasted no time in showcasing his weapons at the GIANTS where he starred for the club’s VFL side in 2025 as a rebounding defender. Oliver will be one of many youngsters pushing for an AFL debut in 2026.
