A former up-and-coming Gaelic football star playing for County Derry in Ireland, Brown was identified by the GIANTS’ Irish scouting program in 2017 and undertook a 12-month trial process with the club. A skilful and powerful athlete, Brown spent two weeks training with the GIANTS under the eye of then head coach Leon Cameron. In October 2018, Brown was signed by the GIANTS as a Category B Rookie, becoming the first player to join the GIANTS’ AFL program directly from Ireland. After two years developing, Brown became the GIANTS’ fifth debutant of the 2021 season when he kicked two goals in a win over Geelong in round 21 at GMHBA Stadium. Elevated to the GIANTS’ senior list, Brown’s ability to both mark above his head and be dangerous at ground level saw him take his game to a new level in 2023. Brown set new career season-highs in both games played (19) and goals (19) in 2023 to cement himself in Adam Kingsley’s best 22. Brown added 13 more games and kicked 17 goals across season 2024.
