Hailing from the small town of Collingullie in the Riverina, Harry Perryman joined the GIANTS with pick 14 in the 2016 AFL Draft. A natural footballer, Perryman is a tough utility who can play through the midfield but in recent times has found a role as one of the GIANTS’ most reliable shutdown defenders. Playing with an uncomplicated manner, Perryman’s toughness is complemented by silky skills on either side of the body and a knack for twisting and turning out of trouble. In 2022 Perryman was awarded the club’s Coaches Award after a brilliant season in which he returned from six weeks out with four broken ribs to play a vital role for the side. In 2023 Perryman was elevated to the GIANTS’ leadership group for the first time.
