The GIANTS have made six changes to their side for a blockbuster Friday night clash with Richmond at Marvel Stadium.

The GIANTS welcome back Josh Kelly, Jacob Hopper, Shane Mumford, Jesse Hogan, Adam Kennedy and Daniel Lloyd.

Five players return after just a week on the sidelines while Kennedy returns from a fortnight out with a hamstring injury.

Out of the side are Matt Buntine (quad), Brent Daniels (hamstring), Callum Brown (hamstring) and Toby Greene (suspended) while Kieren Briggs and Jake Riccardi have been omitted.

GIANTS coach Leon Cameron said:

“It’s been a tough week at the selection table coming off a really special win.

“Unfortunately we lost a couple of players with injury but we’re equally excited to welcome back a number of guys that are ready to go.

“As expected, Josh has trained well all week after a tight quad last week and is ready to play.

“Jacob has passed all of his concussion tests to this point and is feeling really good ahead of his return to the field.

“Shane and Jesse come back in after being managed for last week’s five-day break while Adam and Daniel are important players for us.

“We considered bringing Phil Davis back in but were really impressed with our back seven last week and wanted to go in unchanged in that area of the ground.

“It’s a huge game on Friday night and basically a first final for us.

“The Tigers were incredibly impressive last week and we know they’re going to bring their best.

“We’re looking forward to the challenge and know we’ll have our members and fans by our sides as we run out on Friday night.”

Stephen Coniglio will play reduced minutes in the VFL practice match on Friday afternoon as he comes back from a toe complaint.
