The GIANTS have accepted the one-match suspension offered to forward Jeremy Finlayson by the AFL Match Review Officer.
Finlayson was charged with striking Bomber Zach Merrett during the first quarter of the GIANTS’ narrow win over Essendon at GIANTS Stadium on Saturday.
The incident was assessed as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact.
Finlayson was able to accept a one-match ban for a first offence, with an early guilty plea.
The GIANTS take on Richmond at Marvel Stadium next Saturday night.
