GIANTS Director Tony Shepherd AO has been reappointed to the role of Chairman for another three-year term following the Club’s AGM.

As one of Australia’s most highly respected business leaders, Mr Shepherd has Chaired the GIANTS Board since inception. In addition to helming the GIANTS Board, Mr Shepherd maintains Directorships with numerous prominent Australian organisations, including acting as Chairman of Venues NSW.

Following his re-election, Mr Shepherd said he was looking forward to leading the club through the next phase of growth.

“I’m delighted to continue as Chairman of the GIANTS,” said Mr Shepherd.

“As a club, we have achieved a great deal since entering the competition in 2012. This includes growing our membership base beyond 30,000 people, building state-of-the-art training and administration facilities and expanding to now include an AFLW team and a partnership with GIANTS Netball.
