The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS have received picks 48 and 78 on the final day of the trade period.

The GIANTS received pick 48 from St Kilda in exchange for defender Josh Bruce who played 14 games over two seasons for the GIANTS.

The 21-year old key defender from Canberra joined the GIANTS as an NSW-ACT zone selection.

Pick 78 comes to the GIANTS in exchange for Sam Darley who’s joined the Western Bulldogs.

The 20-year small defender played 13 games for the GIANTS over two seasons after joining the club as a 17-year old access selection from Tasmania.

General Manager Football Graeme Allan has thanked both players for their contribution to the GIANTS.

“Josh Bruce and Sam Darley have been integral members of the GIANTS over our early years and they’ve given great service to the club,” said Allan.

“We wish both players all the best in their future careers in Melbourne.”
