Pepa Randall summed it up best when she said: “You may think it’s photo day, but we’re actually welcoming you to FridgeFest 2020."

The music was pumping out of the LED-lit makeshift studio as the GIANTS’ AFLW players showed their talents extend beyond the footy field as they shone on camera at the annual photo day at GIANTS HQ.

From TikTok challenges to cat impersonations, team photos to #BigBigSound tributes, and the World’s Best Sport Cora Staunton constantly telling media staff how many months of teasing each video was going to earn her (but still doing it anyway - what a star!) the day ensured the GIANTS will have plenty of brilliant content to roll out over the course of the AFLW season.

The fun photos from AFL Photos’ Michael Willson and Getty’s Mark Kolbe are starting to filter through on the GIANTS’ channels, while there’ll be a brilliant new look for the pre-game big screen player content in 2020.

Keep an eye on the GIANTS social channels in the coming weeks for a brand new suite of GIFs! Alicia Eva’s ready for them – are you?

The big screen content will look amazing when it’s rolled out on the massive screen at GIANTS Stadium ahead of the first-ever AFLW/AFL double-header on March 21.

NB: ‘FridgeFest’, for the uninitiated, is the annual music festival put on by star GIANTS DJ Pepa Randall for her teammates, and is named in honour of inaugural captain Amanda Farrugia.
