The jumper numbers for the five newest GIANTS have been revealed.
Draftees Lachie Ash, Tom Green, Jake Riccardi and Tom Hutchesson, along with recruit Sam Jacobs, received their new numbers for the 2020 season as the GIANTS players finished up training for the Christmas break.
Ash - selected at pick four in the recent NAB AFL Draft - will take over the number seven, worn by Brett Deledio in his 32 games from 2016-2019.
After wearing jumper number 39 at Carlton and 24 at the Crows, ruck recruit Jacobs will don the number 10 jumper (formerly Aiden Bonar) for the 2020 season.
Academy product and pick 10 in the 2019 NAB AFL Draft, Canberra’s Tom Green will take over the number 12 jumper - vacated by Jonny Patton’s move to Hawthorn.
South Australian small forward Tom Hutchesson will take the number 20 (formerly worn by original GIANT Adam Tomlinson) while tall forward Jake Riccardi will be in 26 (formerly Dawson Simpson).
The GIANTS AFL players will enjoy a well-earned Christmas and New Year's break before returning for training on January 6.
