A quartet of GIANTS are due to return to the field this weekend while superstar forward Jeremy Cameron faces a fitness test for Sunday’s big clash with the Bulldogs.

Josh Kelly, Matt de Boer, Harry Himmelberg and Aidan Corr have all trained strongly in recent weeks and are available for selection as the GIANTS get set to return to GIANTS Stadium.

“All four of those will play,” GIANTS General Manager of Football Wayne Campbell said.

“Harry’s only missed the one, Aidan Corr’s missed quite a bit of footy, he’s only played a couple of games this year.

“Josh Kelly missed the last four or five with his calf and Matt de Boer is coming back from that broken shoulder against North Melbourne before the bye.

“All of them have done some solid training and will be available for selection.”

Isaac Cumming and Xavier O’Halloran are also set to return after being declared fit before last weekend’s NEAFL bye.

As revealed on Tuesday morning, Jeremy Cameron suffered a cork to his hamstring early in the loss to the Hawks.

Scans revealed no damage with the star forward set to train in Thursday’s main session to prove his fitness.

“He played the game out, he had a corkie in his hamstring but he’s been scanned and he’s all clear,” Campbell said.

“There’s still got a little bit of soreness in there but if he trains this week it looks like he’ll probably play on Sunday.”

Veteran Brett Deledio will miss three to four weeks with a calf injury suffered at UNSW Canberra Oval on Friday night.

“Unfortunately Brett’s hurt his calf again, he’s just got a little nick in his tendon,” Campbell said.

“It’s only very small but they’re a bit slower so he’ll miss the last two weeks but will potentially be available for the first week of the finals.

“After playing 10 or 11 in a row and having a really good patch of footy, unfortunately the cold of Canberra on Friday night got him.”

Jacob Hopper, Sam Taylor and Jeremy Finlayson are all set to build towards the round 23 game against the Gold Coast Suns as they recover from hamstring injuries.

The GIANTS take on the Western Bulldogs in the final home game of the regular season at GIANTS Stadium at 3:20pm on Sunday.
