The GIANTS have made two changes for Saturday’s all-important Sydney Derby with veteran Brett Deledio returning to the side.

Young defender Jake Stein joins Deledio in the 22 as the GIANTS get set to take on the Swans at GIANTS Stadium on Saturday.

Deledio returns to the team after being rested for last week’s win in Adelaide, having played the previous nine games in a row before that.

“It’s great to have Brett come straight back in,” coach Leon Cameron said.

“He was just feeling a bit tight last week and having played nine game in a row we decided not to take the risk.

“The week off has done him a world of good, he’s trained strongly and is looking forward to getting out there at GIANTS Stadium this weekend.”

Defender Stein also comes back into the side for his third senior game.

“I said it last time Jake came into the side but again he was probably unlucky to go out of the side last week after a good performance against Collingwood,” Cameron said.

“He’s an exciting young defender for us and having grown up in Western Sydney I know he will be itching to get out there and take on our cross-town rivals the Swans.”

Sam Taylor is out of the side with a hamstring injury sustained in the win over the Power while Daniel Lloyd has tightness in his calf.

Cameron said his side will be prepared for a Swans side at their best and is encouraging all GIANTS fans to get to GIANTS Stadium on Saturday.

"We know it’s always an exciting contest against the Swans so get to GIANTS Stadium in your orange for what will no doubt be a really hard, tough and physical clash.”

Don’t miss the next instalment in the rivalry between the GIANTS and the Swans and be at GIANTS Stadium on Saturday at 2:10pm for Sydney Derby XVIII.
