Can’t think of a reason why you should come to Friday night’s AFL Women’s game in Blacktown?

We’ve got seven for you!

1 You’ll potentially see the GIANTS qualify for the AFL Women’s Grand Final.

A win will almost guarantee the GIANTS a place in the AFLW Grand Final, while the Lions are also a chance to make the Grand Final if they win. Confused? CLICK HERE to find out what it’ll take for the GIANTS to make the AFLW Grand Final.

2 It’s the only game of AFL on in Sydney this weekend.

There’s no JLT Series on, no practice matches and round one is still a week away.

3 ENTRY IS FREE!

No, don’t rush off to the optometrists your eyes are fine. Yes, entry to AFLW games are free and they have been all year. If you’ve never seen a game, why not make this the first?

4 It’s Irish Round

With St Patrick’s Day on Saturday and one of the great Irish athletes in Cora Staunton lining up for the GIANTS, we’re celebrating by re-naming round seven as Irish Round. There’ll be Irish performers, Gaelic Football and Hurling clinics, Irish music and FREE green snow cones! CLICK HERE to find out more.

5 It’s Good Footy

The GIANTS are undefeated over their past four games and are kicking some amazing goals, just take a look at Cora Staunton’s goal in last week’s win over the Western Bulldogs.

Brisbane finished runners up in 2017 and they’ve got a pretty handy goalscorer in Jess Wuetschner who is capable of doing this.
