Match Day Partner: New Balance

ALICIA EVA RETIRES

An inaugural AFLW player and a genuine star of the competition, Alicia Eva will play her final AFLW match against the Suns on Sunday. Eva started her career with Collingwood, before moving to the GIANTS for a dual playing-coaching role ahead of the 2018 season. She is the club's longest serving captain, holding the mantle between 2020-2023.

Possessing one of the strongest football IQs in the league, Eva is celebrated for her work off-field in coaching and talent development as much as her 90-game career on-field, and is currently the Head Coach of the GIANTS Academy.

An All-Australian and Gab Trainor Medallist in 2018, Eva leaves an indelible legacy in the GIANTS playing group and will be celebrated by club, members and fans in her final outing and 91st game on Sunday.
