Riding the high of a thrilling win over the Hawks, the GIANTS now travel south looking to make it back-to-back upset wins when they face off with the Blues at Ikon Park.
AFLW - Round 11
Blues v GIANTS
Sunday, October 25 at 5:05pm
Ikon Park, Melbourne | Wurundjeri
Milestone - 100 AFLW Games
One of just eight inaugural teams in the competition, the GIANTS will play their 100th AFLW home and away game in round 11. Taking on the mantle of being the only AFLW team in NSW, the GIANTS bid for a license in 2016 to ensure the new competition had a presence in the country's biggest market. The GIANTS have been flying the flag for women's football in Sydney since, now almost a decade on from their first match. With 107 players spanning the 11 seasons, the GIANTS have built a program based upon authenticity, fearlessness and being an all-in competitor. The team will ring-in the milestone against fellow inaugural side the Blues on Sunday.
