Reigning club champion Zarlie Goldsworthy will be a test for the GIANTS’ critical round eight clash with the Bombers.
The GIANTS star will need to work through the week’s training load before team selection on Thursday evening.
It is a significant boost for the season, following news that Poppy Boltz has unfortunately sustained a syndesmosis injury, which rules her out for the remainder of the year.
Boltz' injury occurred in a tackle in the second quarter of the GIANTS round seven match against the Magpies.
She met with surgeons on Tuesday morning and will undergo surgical repair on Thursday.
Grace Martin is progressing through concussion protocols and is on track to be available to return to the team following the conclusion of the 12-day period.
Brodee Mowbray has also resumed running and will look to return to team training next week.
The GIANTS return home to face the Bombers in round eight of the 2026 NAB AFLW Season their first home game of the year at Henson Park, this Saturday, October 3.
