The inclusion of Nick Madden and Toby McMullin headline eight changes to the GIANTS’ VFL side for Sunday’s clash with Coburg in the Riverina.
Newly re-signed with a four-year extension, Madden returns to action via the VFL, after overcoming a PCL injury which has sidelined him since April, while McMullin returns after missing two games with hamstring soreness.
Also entering the side are Tom Hitchens, Declan Fitzgerald, Ethan Roberts, Taine Moraschi, Riley Dillon and Brody Kane.
The GIANTS, who sit third at 8-4, will field their most inexperienced side this season, with just six AFL-listed GIANTS named to face Coburg on Sunday.
Joining Madden and McMullin from the AFL list are James Leake, Cody Angove, Oskar Taylor, and Logan Smith.
Despite their inexperience the GIANTS will be out to continue their strong VFL campaign this weekend, aiming to consolidate their top four spot on a logjammed VFL ladder.
Continuing their connection with the Riverina region, the GIANTS will host Coburg in Narrandera on Sunday.
