The GIANTS have made five changes to their VFL side, including the inclusion of two debutants, for Sunday’s clash with the Bombers at Tom Wills Oval.
Entering this week’s side are Ethan Roberts, Tom Hitchens, Jaxon East, Reeve Simmons, and William Foster.
Sunday’s clash will mark the VFL debuts for both Simmons and Foster.
Previously a member of the Swans Academy, Simmons started out his time at the GIANTS as a VFL train-on before joining the GIANTS Academy as an over-ager.
Meanwhile Foster is a local product who plays for UNSW in the AFL Sydney competition.
Exiting the VFL team this week are Jake Riccardi, Toby McMullin, and Max Gruzewski for AFL duties, as well as Oskar Taylor (managed) and Matthew Belbasis (omitted).
Sunday’s VFL side will feature just eight AFL-listed GIANTS, with the likes of Harry Rowston and Jack Ough looking to continue their brilliant form at the level.
The GIANTS currently sit second on the VFL table at 4-1 for the season, while the Bombers sit 19th at 2-4.
Sunday’s game will get under way at Tom Wills Oval at 11:05am.
