All eyes will turn to South Australia for Gather Round from April 9 - 12 as all 18 clubs – including your GIANTS – descend on the City of Churches and its surrounds for four days of unmissable footy action.
With school holidays across much of the country, it’s the perfect time to tune in, travel over, and be part of a round like no other – where every game, every fan, and every moment of AFL action is in one place.
With the GIANTS set for a mouthwatering showdown with Richmond on Sunday, April 12 at Barossa Park, check out everything GIANT that is happening across Gather Round in what’s sure to be an action-packed weekend celebrating all things footy.
Saturday, April 11 [all times are in local SA time]
Run 4 Your Club
When: 8am on Saturday, April 11, 2026
Where: Elder Park, Adelaide
What: Taking place on Saturday, 11 April, Run 4 Your Club is a mass participation running and walking event that will see supporters from every AFL club compete for off-field bragging rights in a four kilometres club-versus-club battle during the 2026 'Gather Round…A Festival of Footy' in South Australia.
The four-kilometre route will start and finish outside of the Macca's Footy Festival at Elder Park, with participants taking in the southern banks of the River Torrens with the Adelaide Oval as the backdrop, the Adelaide Zoo and looping around the eastern side of North Adelaide. The finish line will welcome participants and supporters into the Macca's Footy Festival – the four-day festival full of free activities and entertainment for all ages.
With entry just $10* per participant, registration proceeds from Run 4 Your Club will be donated to the official charity partner of the 2026 AFL Gather Round - the Women's & Children's Hospital, supporting vital health services for South Australian families.
There’s also a club leaderboard for registration, participation and average finish time, so join in the fun and make sure the GIANTS are well represented all in the name of a good cause.

GIANTS Open Training Session & Signing Session
When: 2:00pm (training session), 4:00pm (post-training signing session and clinic)
Where: Tanunda FC Oval, 1 Park Street, Tanunda, SA 5232
What: Join the GIANTS for an exciting open training session where fans can collect orange giveaways and get ready to help create an “orange tsunami” in Adelaide. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from players and coaches, meet GIANTS mascots, and purchase official merchandise. There’s also a chance to be selected for the Guard of Honour in Sunday’s match against Richmond. After training, stay for a signing session with players.
GIANTS Gather Round Footy Clinic
When: 4:15pm
Where: Tanunda FC Oval, 1 Park Street, Tanunda, SA 5232
What: A participation clinic for kids aged between 5 and 12 with the GIANTS. There will be a range of NAB Auskick and NAB Superkick activities for kids to take part in.

Sunday, April 12
GIANTS Pre-Match Function and March
When: 12:00pm – 1:30pm (pre-match function)
1:30pm (march begins)
2:45pm (match starts)
Where: The Lord Lyndoch - 23 Barossa Valley Way, Lyndoch SA 5351
What: Start the day at the GIANTS pre-match function before joining fellow fans in the “orange tsunami” march to Barossa Park. The day concludes with the GIANTS taking on Richmond in what promises to be an exciting match atmosphere.
Game Time v the Tigers
When: 2:45pm start [SA local time]
Where: Barossa Park - 2 Barossa Valley Way, Lyndoch SA 5351
What: Be there in person as the GIANTS look to get their season back on track with a win in what’s sure to be an exciting clash with the Tigers at Barossa Park.
