It was a weekend to remember for a group of lucky GIANTS members last week as they were treated to an unforgettable match day experience as the club faced off against the Saints.
As part of the club’s ongoing commitment to rewarding its loyal supporter base, across the club’s first two home games 30 members who were supporting the GIANTS live at ENGIE Stadium were upgraded to a fully catered corporate suite, enjoying the action in premium comfort while soaking up the electric game day atmosphere.
The experience comes off the back of a significant milestone for the club, with the GIANTS surpassing 30,000 members ahead of Opening Round for the third consecutive year - a testament to the strength and passion of the Orange Army as the club enters its 15th season in the competition.
The suite upgrades were designed to celebrate this milestone and recognise the members who have been at the heart of the GIANTS’ journey. Among those invited were a number of foundation members, alongside newer recruits to the GIANTS family, highlighting the club’s commitment to both honouring its history and welcoming its future.
For foundation member, Graham, the experience was one he won’t soon forget.
“It has been wonderful,” he said on the day.
“For the GIANTS to do something like this, for us, I can’t put it into words.
“We’ve been to virtually every game they’ve played, and many games interstate, we just love our GIANTS.
“Today we came along like we always do for a normal game of footy and to be invited into this environment has just been so fantastic.
“We’ve been members from year dot and normally we spend a lot of time in the Members Lounge, but to come along today and be invited into this area, with the food, the wine, and everything, I don’t know what the GIANTS are doing but they’re certainly repaying us for a lot of the time we’ve put into the GIANTS.
“We also met James Leake who is a lovely young man and also met Nick Madden who is also a nice young man. They were very friendly, and it was great to see them in person.”
