The GIANTS will face the Hawks in a blockbuster 2026 Toyota AFL Opening Round, a grudge-ridden rematch of this year’s Elimination Final.
Opening their season on Saturday, March 7 at ENGIE Stadium, presented by Harvey Norman, the GIANTS will be revving for retaliation for the 19-point loss that ended their premiership cup hopes this past September.
Travelling to Melbourne for the first of five Victorian matches in round one, the GIANTS will then meet the Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium on Saturday, March 14.
The GIANTS return home to Western Sydney to face the Saints in round two, a match sure to be fuelled by the trade period drama surrounding GIANTS defender Leek Aleer.
Round three sees another Marvel match-up, this time meeting the Magpies for a blockbuster Friday night clash under the roof.
After a round four bye, round five sees the GIANTS head to Barossa Park for an afternoon contest with the Tigers as part of Gather Round festivities on Sunday, April 12.
Sydney Derby XXXII is scheduled for round six at the SCG under Friday night lights.
It’s one of the few chances to catch the GIANTS in action in Sydney through April, with the GIANTS on the road as the Royal Easter Show renders ENGIE Stadium unavailable.
Canberrans can count on three high octane clashes at Corroboree Group Oval, Manuka, headlined by an ANZAC weekend meeting with the Kangaroos in round seven.
A trip up the East Coast to the Gold Coast awaits in round eight, with the first of two Expansion Cup contests on the cards in a rare Sunday night fixture coinciding with a Queensland public holiday.
Round nine marks the GIANTS’ return to Sydney and ENGIE Stadium, when we take on the Bombers in a Saturday twilight clash.
The Eagles will welcome the GIANTS to Optus Stadium in round 10, but it’s the round 11 Sunday slot against Brisbane which will be a date marked in many calendars, when the Lions return to ENGIE Stadium at 12:30pm on Sunday, May 24.
It's the first time the reigning premiers have played at the venue since the GIANTS’ heartbreaking five-point loss in the 2024 Semi-Final.
The GIANTS then head to the red centre, where newcomer Clayton Oliver will face former club the Demons in Alice Springs in round 12, before a hard-earned mid-season bye over the King’s Birthday long weekend.
A scintillating second match-up with the Saints is on the cards when the GIANTS return to Marvel action in round 14, before the final confirmed clash of the new fixture sees the GIANTS back home against the Blues at ENGIE Stadium in round 15.
In the club’s only MCG match scheduled for the home and away season, the GIANTS come up against the Hawks for the second time of 2026 in round 16, the first floating fixture of the year.
It’s then back down the Hume to face the Dockers in the Capital in round 17, before the GIANTS will look to continue their hot-streak against the Cats when the Hoops travel from Geelong to ENGIE Stadium for an exciting round 18 match-up.
Round 19 marks the last Marvel match for the home-and-away season, a second clash with Jake Stringer’s former side, the Bombers.
Sydney Derby XXXIII shapes as a marquee match in round 20, where the GIANTS will hope to replicate their heroic feats from this year’s home Battle of the Bridge.
The GIANTS head to Adelaide twice to round out the season, first to take on the Power in round 21, before returning to South Australia for the third time of the season to unseat reigning minor premiers the Crows in round 24.
In between trips to the Bight lies the home Expansion Cup at Corroboree Group Oval, Manuka in round 22, and a clash with the Eagles in the GIANTS’ last home game of the home and away season in round 23.
