The GIANTS have bid farewell to utility Jacob Wehr, who has officially joined Port Adelaide on the opening day of the Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period.
Wehr, an unrestricted free agent, departs the GIANTS after 39 games and five seasons, after being selected with the final live pick, selection 59 overall, in the 2020 National Draft as a mature-age 22-year-old.
GIANTS Executive General Manager of Football, Jason McCartney, said:
"You never like to see good people leave the club, but that’s the nature of the industry,” McCartney said.
“We thank Jacob for being a valuable member of our club and we wish him and Nikkia the very best back home.”
The 2025 Trade Period started today and runs until Wednesday, October 15.
