Exciting small forward Brent Daniels will make his highly anticipated return this Saturday when the GIANTS run out Corroboree Group Oval Manuka.

Daniels has been sidelined for the past eight matches after sustaining a rare abdominal injury, that required careful management and a patient rehabilitation process.

His last appearance was in the club’s round four victory over the West Coast Eagles, where he once again demonstrated his trademark speed, pressure and forward-half creativity.

The return of the 2024 All-Australian squad member is a welcome boost as Adam Kingsley’s side looks to build momentum through the middle part of the season.

Daniels is one of three inclusions for Saturday’s clash with the Power, with GIANTS’ Academy Product, Nick Madden, set to make his debut in the nation’s capital.

Madden earns his AFL debut on the back of an impressive run of form in the VFL, where the Riverina native has been a standout performer.

Across nine games this season, he has averaged 19.9 disposals, 33.1 hitouts, 6.2 clearances, 3.7 marks (including 1.2 contested) and three tackles per game - highlighting his all-around impact on the field.

Towering at 204cm, the 21-year-old has drawn praise for his ruck work, showcasing strong hands and a physical presence around stoppages.

His ability to win the ball at ground level and contribute around the contest has made him a consistent threat and a valuable asset in the VFL setup, earning him this well-deserved opportunity at the top level.

Winger Jacob Wehr will also return for the round 13 clash, after being omitted last week.

The trio enter the side in place of injured duo Callan Ward and Kieren Briggs, as well as youngster Cody Angove (omitted).

The GIANTS will return to the nation's capital to host the Power in their second of three home games at Corroboree Group Oval Manuka.
