GIANTS young gun Finn Callaghan will be sidelined for the next 4-6 weeks after scans confirmed a minor shoulder dislocation for the emerging midfielder.

Callaghan injured his right shoulder in a marking contest on the three-quarter time siren and after strapping his shoulder returned to the field for most of the fourth quarter.

The 22-year-old won’t require surgery and will be targeting a return in round 14.

Toby McMullin is only expected to miss one week, after being subbed out at half-time during Saturday’s match at ENGIE Stadium after presenting with adductor irritation.

Key midfielder, Josh Kelly, will return to modified team training this week as he continues to progress in his recovery plans following irritation in his hip joint.

Brent Daniels is also making progress in his return-to-play protocols and will increase his running and training load this week.

Meanwhile, Stephen Coniglio will consult a specialist this week after struggling to meet his training re-load demands last week.

The GIANTS will travel to Melbourne this weekend to take on the Blues at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.
