The GIANTS have made four inclusions to their extended squad for this weekend’s trip to Geelong to take on the Cats at GMHBA Stadium.
Jake Riccardi, Harry Rowston, Ryan Angwin and Cody Angove have all been named in the 26-man squad.
Riccardi (hand) was a late out from last Thursday’s squad and will need to get through Friday’s main training in order to be named in the final team of 23.
Rowston and Angwin were among the standouts in the club’s VFL win over the Swans last weekend, earning a place in the extended squad and pushing for their first senior game this season.
Also added to Sunday’s 26-man squad is 2024 draftee Angove who continues to push for his AFL debut with strong form in the VFL.
Meanwhile, Darcy Jones will miss Sunday’s match due to a minor knee injury.
Jones is expected to be a test for next weekend’s round 10 clash with the Dockers at ENGIE Stadium.
The final team of 23 will be confirmed at 5pm on Friday, following the club’s main training session.
The GIANTS will face the Cats from 3:20pm AEST on Sunday at GMHBA Stadium.
