The GIANTS have made five changes to their VFL side for Saturday’s curtain-raiser clash with the Cats in Geelong.

Forward Conor Stone headlines the inclusions, after making way from the AFL side this week.

The AFL-listed GIANT is joined in the VFL side by Joel Rush, James Creighton, Tom McCaffrey and newcomer Kale Gabila, who will make his GIANTS’ VFL debut.

The inclusions enter Saturday’s side in place of James Peatling, Ryan Angwin and Toby McMullin - who have each earned an AFL recall following strong VFL performances - as well as Josh Fahey (injured) and Nick Quigg (injured).

The GIANTS’ VFL side will consist of 9 AFL- listed players for the clash with Geelong.

Sitting at 3-4 following three straight losses, the GIANTS will be looking to rebound against a red-hot Geelong outfit which has won five straight games to sit third on the VFL table heading into Saturday’s showdown.

Serving as a curtain raiser to the two clubs’ AFL clash, Saturday’s match between the GIANTS and the Cats will get under way at 12:05pm at GMHBA Stadium.

All VFL matches will be live streamed free on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App.
