The GIANTS have made four changes ahead of Saturday’s clash at the Cattery in week two of Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
Zippy midfielder James Peatling returns to the side for Saturday’s clash after playing in four of the GIANTS’ six victories this season.
Peatling was the standout in his first VFL game of the year last week, with a team-high 25 touches and 10 clearances to go along with three goals.
Athletic defender Leek Aleer has been named as the replacement for Jack Buckley.
Aleer exited the 12-day protocols this week from a concussion sustained in round seven in the VFL and will return to the side for his third AFL game of the season.
Utility Ryan Angwin has earned selection for his first game of the season after playing 15 games throughout the 2023 season.
The 21-year-old adds versatility to Kingsley’s side with the traditional wingman more recently making impact down back at VFL level.
The fourth addition for this week’s game is Toby McMullin, returning for his first game since the Opening Round win over the Pies.
McMullin was in the best alongside Peatling in the VFL last week with 22 touches, three clearances and three tackles to re-gain selection.
The quadruplet come into the team in replace of Jacob Wehr and Conor Stone (omitted), as well as Darcy Jones (hamstring) and Jack Buckley (calf).
The GIANTS will take on Geelong on Saturday afternoon at GMHBA Stadium.
