The GIANTS will take two first-round picks into next month’s national draft as the club makes further list changes.
The GIANTS currently hold picks 7 and 16 in the first round of the draft, as well as 43, 59, 77, 79 and 95, with the club having three available spots on their senior list heading into the 2024 season.
Since the 2023 season ended with a one-point loss to Collingwood in the preliminary final, the GIANTS have farewelled retiring pair Phil Davis and Daniel Lloyd while Cameron Fleeton and Jason Gillbee weren’t offered new contracts.
Key utility Lachlan Keeffe and versatile rookie Cooper Hamilton both re-signed with the club for a further season while veteran Adam Kennedy will be delisted at today’s list lodgment with a commitment to re-rookie the inaugural GIANT in November’s rookie draft.
The national draft will be held in Melbourne across two nights on Monday, November 20 and Tuesday, November 21 while the rookie draft will be held online on Wednesday, November 22.
