Small forward Bobby Hill will make his long-awaited return to football via the VFL when the GIANTS host the Footscray Bulldogs at Blacktown International Sportspark on Saturday afternoon.

Hill last played for the GIANTS in round 11, before beginning his battle with testicular cancer.

The 22-year-old underwent surgery at the start of June and has gradually increased his time at the club over the past couple of months.

After being medically cleared, and then increasing his training loads, Hill has been named to return to the field this weekend.

Hill will play in the GIANTS’ final VFL match of the season.
