Ryan Angwin will be available for selection after missing last week’s match with a shoulder injury.

The recently re-signed midfielder missed last week’s VFL match with an ongoing shoulder complaint but is available for selection this week.

GIANTS Head of Medical Services James Rahme said:

“Ryan sustained a minor injury to his shoulder during the VFL team’s draw against Sandringham a fortnight ago.

“The coaching, high performance and medical team opted to manage him for the game to make sure he can play as much football as possible this season as he manages the injury.”

Jake Stein returns to training this week after missing last week’s VFL match due to health and safety protocols.

Meanwhile, small forward Brent Daniels is closing in on a return. Daniels will return to full training this week and is set to be available for selection in the coming weeks.

Daniel Lloyd (arm), Jacob Hopper (knee), Phil Davis (hamstring) and Jack Buckley (knee) continue their rehab from long-term injuries.

The GIANTS return to Manuka Oval to take on Geelong at 4:35pm on Saturday in round eight. The match will be broadcast live on 7Mate in NSW and the ACT as well as Fox Footy and Kayo nationally.
