The GIANTS gathered on Sunday to celebrate the upcoming NAB AFLW season at the Boathouse in Rose Bay.

Joined by partners, family, staff and VIPs, the 2022 playing group were presented with their playing jumpers.

Across the 31-player playing list, the roster boasts a range of players both in age, experience, geography and journeys to make it to the elite level.

A sense of pride and honour was seen and felt throughout the room, with the orange and charcoal jumper a symbol of a special group.

In welcoming 10 new players for the upcoming season, the uncapped GIANTS received an extra special jumper presentation with a teammate taking to the microphone to talk of their impact on the group, potential or acknowledging their journey to becoming a GIANT.

Others speakers included a Q&A with Head Coach Alan McConnell, Head of Women’s Football Bri Harvey, Chairman Tony Shepherd AO, GIANTS General Manager of Football Jason McCartney and Chief Executive Officer Dave Matthews.

The GIANTS will compete in the sixth NAB AFLW season in 2022, with the fixture set to be released this week.
