What is the Cultural Heritage Series?

Across 2025 nine AFL clubs will use a specific home game to celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Australian football through the Cultural Heritage Series.

The GIANTS have chosen their round 12 clash with Richmond to honour the special initiative, with the club excited to welcome new and existing AFL fans to ENGIE Stadium for an immersive cultural festival in celebration of the diverse cultures of Western Sydney.

While the Cultural Heritage Series is a new initiative for season 2025, the GIANTS have held an annual multicultural-focused game in Sydney since 2016 and we’re excited to continue the tradition as we welcome fans along for an action-packed cultural festival prior to our game against the Tigers at ENGIE Stadium on Saturday, May 31.

Full of cultural performance and interactive workshops, the GIANTS Cultural Heritage Series clash with the Tigers will provide all those in attendance with an immersive experience of traditions, education and memories as we celebrate our diverse community!

The festival will take place inside ENGIE Stadium, with the main elements taking place on the concourse near Gate D, as well on some on-field performances.
