Adam Kingsley was appointed GIANTS AFL head coach following the end of the 2022 season.

A former premiership and best and fairest winner with Port Adelaide, where he played 170 games, Kingsley quickly moved into coaching following his playing career, immediately taking up assistant coaching roles with Port Adelaide and then St Kilda.

After eight years with the Saints, Kingsley joined Richmond as assistant coach in 2019 where he played a leading role in the Tigers’ last two premierships.

He wasted little time showing his capabilities as a first-time senior coach in 2023, taking the GIANTS from a 16th place finish in 2022 to a preliminary final in 2023.

Kingsley was recognised for his remarkable debut season by receiving the 2023 Monjon Allan Jeans Senior Coach of the Year as voted by all AFL coaches at season’s end.
