Taken with pick four in last year’s draft, the skilful young midfielder joined the GIANTS as one of the best underage ball winners in the country. A speedy and versatile midfielder with elite consistency, Howley was a back-to-back U18 All Australian and Coates Talent League Team of the Year member who is blessed with sharp skills, a high footy IQ, elite running ability, and a knack for finding the footy. Howley starred for the Geelong Falcons across 15 games in 2024, averaging 26 disposals per game to solidify herself as one of the very best in the 2024 Draft class. The talented teenager was just as dominant for Vic Country, averaging 28 touches per game at 77 per cent efficiency to be crowned Vic Country’s MVP. The young gun burst onto the scene in 2023 after claiming the Coates Talent League best and fairest as an under-age prospect and continued to elevate her game across 2024 where she finished runner-up in the competition best and fairest. A member of the AFLW Academy prior to being draft, Howley is seen as a ready-made AFLW footballer and will be hoping to have an immediate impact at AFLW level in 2025.
