Selected by the GIANTS as a Category B Rookie in the 2024 Draft, Delana is a small forward of Fijian descent who plays with flair and energy. A GIANTS Academy product hailing from Western Sydney, Delana possesses clean hands, strong decision-making and an explosive sidestep. He joined the GIANTS after a strong 2024 season at underage level where he represented the Allies on four occasions as well as playing eight games for the GIANTS’ VFL side. His best performance for the Allies came in their National Championships win over Western Australia, where he picked up 19 disposals and laid 14 tackles. A positive, team-first player, Delana performed well at the state Draft Combine in Melbourne, recording 8.39 seconds on the agility test and 6:38 for the 2km time trial. After a string of impressive VFL performances, the zippy small forward made his AFL debut in round eight of the 2025 season against the Swans and managed three total AFL games across his debut season.
