Two big names could return to the GIANTS line-up this week pending tests.

Forward Jesse Hogan has had his training loads managed over the last three weeks after reporting soreness following the team’s pre-season practice match in Albury.

Nick Haynes
has been managing some stomach issues that have arisen in the past month.

Haynes played a full game in a VFL practice match on Saturday while Hogan played his designated minutes.

Both will need to get through full training on Thursday to put their hands up for selection.

If selected, Hogan will line up for his 100th AFL game on Sunday.

GIANTS Head of Medical Services James Rahme said:

“Nick and Jesse have done all the right things and will put their hands up for selection if they get through training on Thursday.

“They both got through their game time on the weekend with no problems.”

Zach Sproule (shoulder), Brent Daniels (foot) and Jack Buckley (knee) continue their rehab from long-term injuries.

The GIANTS face off against Richmond at the MCG at 3:20pm on Sunday in round two of the AFL season with the match to be broadcast live from 3pm on 7mate, Fox Footy and Kayo.
