The GIANTS will challenge small forward Toby Bedford’s one-match suspension for rough conduct at the AFL tribunal.

Bedford was charged with rough conduct for his collision with Carlton player Zac Fisher in the third quarter of the GIANTS' win on Sunday evening.

The incident has been graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, with Bedford offered a one-match suspension.

The GIANTS have confirmed they will challenge the suspension a the AFL tribunal.

The GIANTS’ 32-point win over the Blues in round 24 saw them secure seventh position and qualify for the second elimination-final.  

The GIANTS will now meet St Kilda on Saturday, September 9 at 3:20pm at the MCG.
