Toby Bedford has been found guilty of rough conduct at the AFL Tribunal and will serve a one-match suspension.

Bedford faced the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday evening after being charged with rough conduct following a tackle on Swan Ollie Florent, where he earned a free kick for holding the ball.

The incident was classified as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

The club argued that the tackle was not careless conduct with Bedford believing the tackle was safe - and the momentum of the pair was more to blame for the landing than his own rotation.

After deliberating for 40 minutes, the Tribunal upheld the charge and found Bedford guilty of rough conduct.

Bedford will now miss the GIANTS' round 22 clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Sunday at 4:40pm.
