The GIANTS have made four changes to their team to take on the Cats in Toby Greene’s 200th match on Saturday.

Former skipper Callan Ward, defenders Lachlan Keeffe and Callum Brown and forward Daniel Lloyd all return to the side to travel to Geelong.

Ward returns to the 22 after spending the past two games as the sub, bringing 279 games’ experience to the side.

Keeffe comes in for his first game of the season, with the experienced key defender averaging 11 touches and four marks a game in the VFL.

Brown comes back into the backline after 13 disposals, six marks and three tackles in the VFL side’s win over Sandringham last weekend. Lloyd also comes back into the team after 25 touches and two goals at the lower level.

Out of the team are Harry Himmelberg and Nick Haynes, who are both in the concussion protocols, Josh Kelly, who suffered a hamstring injury last match, and Cameron Fleeton, who has been omitted.

The GIANTS get set to take on the reigning premiers at GMHBA Stadium in what will be captain Toby Greene’s 200th game.

Greene becomes the first player drafted to the club to reach the milestone with the now 29-year-old drafted to the GIANTS in 2011 at pick 11.

A move forward in 2016 saw him receive his first All Australian honours and win the Kevin Sheedy Medal. Greene was again named in the All Australian team in 2021 and elevated to co-captain of the club in 2022. In 2023 he was named sole captain of the club.

The GIANTS take on Geelong on Saturday afternoon with live coverage on 7mate in NSW and the ACT.
