The GIANTS have a long and proud history in Canberra, having firmly established a footprint in the nation's capital from the club's inception.
In December 2022, the Club announced a landmark long-term partnership extension with the ACT Government which would see the GIANTS remain as Canberra's team through to at least 2032.

The club committed to playing at least three AFL matches in Canberra each season while also playing pre-season and an AFL Women's match at Corroboree Group Manuka Oval
The GIANTS have had many iconic moments at Corroboree Group Manuka over the years, including the club's first-ever win - coming in round seven, 2012 against the Gold Coast Suns.
Many GIANTS players have also hailed from or spent time in the nation's capital and surrounding areas including Phil Davis, Harry Himmelberg and Tom Green in the AFL program as well as AFLW stars Tarni Evans, Cambridge McCormick and Emily Pease.
THREE BLOCKBUSTER AFL GAMES IN 2025
Canberra fans are in for a treat in season 2025, with three GIANT clashes set for Corroboree Group Manuka Oval Manuka Oval — headlined by a blockbuster ANZAC Appeal Round showdown against the Western Bulldogs in round seven.
The ANZAC clash will light up the nation’s capital as the GIANTS go head-to-head with the Bulldogs under the bright lights of Corroboree Group Manuka Oval, in what promises to be a fiery and emotional contest.
Next up, the GIANTS will return to Canberra in round 13 for an electrifying Saturday night battle against Port Adelaide. The match will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 7:35pm, giving fans a prime-time spectacle between two consistent finals sides.
Rounding out the GIANTS’ Canberra campaign is a round 22 matchup with North Melbourne where the Kangaroos will bounce into the nation's capital looking to upset the home side. While the exact date and time are still to be confirmed as part of the AFL’s floating fixture, the game will take place sometime across the weekend of August 7–10.
