With just 24 days until the GIANTS begin their second season of the NAB AFL Women’s Competition, the club has surpassed 1500 members.

The GIANTS reached 1502 2018 AFLW members on Wednesday morning and is closing in on its competition record of 1881 AFLW Members set in 2017.

GIANTS AFLW coach Alan McConnell was delighted with the news as the playing squad continues its preparations for the fast approaching season.

“It’s fantastic that we’ve received such great support from our members already,” he said.

“We’re working hard to improve on last season and the team is raring to go to get back out there.

“It’s a really exciting time of the season, and with home games coming up at Drummoyne, Blacktown and Canberra the players are really looking forward to playing in front of some passionate home crowds.”

The GIANTS are aiming to reach 2000 AFLW members in 2018 and with memberships just $50 for Adults and $18 for Juniors now is the time to join.
