The GIANTS will celebrate their 100th game in the AFL with a special playing jumper to mark the occasion.

In the same style as the home jumper, the limited edition 100th game guernsey features a number of illustrations of the GIANTS major milestones from the past five years.

Images include all four Kevin Sheedy medalists, the inaugural Sydney Derby, the club’s first ever win in Canberra in 2012 and the GIANTS first victory over the Swans in 2014.

The back of the jumper features the names of every player and coach from the first 100 games as well as mentions of major milestones over the past five years.

Midfield forward Toby Greene is one of the players to have his face on the new jumper and has played in 85 of the GIANTS first 99 games.

He played in the GIANTS first ever game in 2012 said he was proud to be part of the club’s first 100 games.

“It’s been a big journey and it’s great for a young club like ours to be able to celebrate a milestone like this,” said Greene.

“I think the jumper looks great and I know the team is looking forward to running out in it on Sunday.

“We’ve had our number of firsts over the past five years and hopefully there are plenty more highlights to come over the next 100 games for the club.”

A limited number of the guernseys will be available for purchase at Spotless Stadium on Sunday and online at shop.gwsgiants.com.au
